Toys R Us starts by using the melody of that old Toys 'r Us commercial - and using that imagery to tell a story about a boy who who felt like a toy, played with by life. He built the blocks of trauma to have them fall into his manhood- damaging him... controlling him... blocking him... stealing him... pushing him back to a moment that seemed to live way beyond its time. Toys R'Us is a poem that should be heard by anyone that has be hurt and anyone that has been healed.
