This alternative comedy musical follows the protagonist through glimpses of their life while growing up in 2000s suburbia. Being raised Catholic and identifying as transmasculine is like oil and holy water. They grapple with freedom of self expression alongside parents who really just wish they wouldn’t, survive the gauntlet of social hierarchy in school, and answer the everlasting question, “Do these jeans make my ass look phat?”
