In a culture that's quick to cancel stands a man with a story centered around facing and learning to love- past his fears. Hymned/him/Hemmed UP! speaks to fatherhood, spirituality, self -love and sacrifice, black masculinity, embracing healthier choices and the passage to getting there. It's about the continuous willingness to learn, often falling/failing and the resilience of bouncing back to the center of self, high hopes, purpose and fortune.

Billy Ramsey, also known by the poet moniker of Issim Dark, bears the torch for this one man show that deepens the perspective of our shared experience.
