About the Event

RATING | R

Genre: Theatre

When a thirty-eight year old standup comedian gets unexpectedly pregnant, it seems like a beautiful gift as her mother is on hospice. But two days later, her Mother dies, and two weeks later, she miscarries.   An autobiographical examination of grief, loss, and the beauty of life AND death, "A Motherless Child Loses A Child" uses comedy, drama, and music (from opera to folk, and everything in between), to invite the audience on a journey that is all too familiar for many, and all too often not discussed by all.    Nothing is off limits, and everything is potential material, in this one woman show.
