After a brief and tense meeting in a theatre producer’s office, a desperate and deranged playwright kidnaps the producer and forces them to workshop their new play. So long as the producer helps the playwright develop, complete, and produce their new work, the producer shall be set free, unharmed. However, what begins as a maniacal playwriting workshop unravels into a meta-theatrical experience where both characters must work together to complete the play they both find themselves a part of. As both men collaborate on the play in front of them, horrifying secrets are revealed, and the illusion of what is stagecraft and what is real begins to blur and collapse.
