This alternative musical comedy follows the protagonist through glimpses of their life while growing up closeted in 2000s suburbia. Being raised Catholic and identifying as transmasculine is like oil and holy water. They grapple with freedom of self expression alongside parents who just really wish they wouldn’t, attempt to survive the gauntlet of adolescent social hierarchy, and answer the everlasting question: “Do these jeans make my ass look phat?”
