About the Event

RATING | PG-13

Genre: Theatre

Warnings: Violence

Hippocampus Theatrics presents an intimate evening of storytelling that explores the intersections of memory, family, and identity. In Baker’s Dozen, playwright Donald E. Baker curates a vivid tapestry of 13 short works that span generations of the gay experience.

Minimalist in staging but maximalist in emotional impact, the production moves seamlessly from the humor of everyday life to the profound echoes of the past—addressing everything from the bickering, gentle humor of aging and the isolation of the pandemic, to the complexities of sexual abuse and the resilience of the human spirit. Join us for a powerful, text-focused performance that reminds us how our individual stories define our collective history.
